View Full Version : how would i change my light setup on a 01 400ex?

i hate the stock headlights on my 01 400ex and the setup sucks but if i would put new lights on there where would they go how would i do this? also can i put a hood scoop on my 01 400ex?

There are endless options. If you need to light up the night like the sun you can get those huge ricky stator lights. If i was getting aftermarket lights I would get some trail tech lights and you can get a handlebar mount for them. Yes you can get a hood for a 01 400ex

well i dont really want to mount them on my handlebars but if i wanted new lights would i just put them where my stock ones was or what?

HEY PIPELESS, WHERE WHERE YOU ABLE TO FIND THE HOOD, AND IS IT MADE FOR THAT BODY STYLE OR IS THAT HOOD FOR THE NEWER BODY AND YOU MODIFIED YOUR STOCK PLASTIC? I KNOW THAT YOU HAD TO CUT THE LIGHT LOCATION OUT IN ORDER TO FIT THE HOOD, BUT MORE THAN THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO LET ME IN ON.
