I am 13 and about 5' . I am an experienced rider coming off of a modded cr85 bigwheel that I raced. I have a blaster but It is really holding me back. Is the 300ex better handling and faster or should I just stay with a blaster? Also how much bigger in size is a 300ex? I have a pipe, nerfs, reeds, and tires for the blaster and I am looking to race in the 200/300 class.I am open to other quads too but I thought that these two would be the best choices.

a blaster vs a 300ex the 300ex will probrably win, if you could handle it i would buy a 400ex or a z-400 a 300ex handles better, better suspension if i had the choice i would get a 300ex and i have a blaster

matters what you are racing mx or hairscrambles id pick the blaster for both buts its all up to the rider,

I dont know its just that the 300 is heavy the 400 is too big and the blaster is too poorly handling

no how much does he weigh, a blaster weighs 325 dry weight and a 300ex more than that

a 300 is not that heavy, and a 300ex handles awesome, suspension isnt bad, and it is really reliable, what more could you want?

no its not that heavy but hes just saying that its heavier than a blaster. the blasters acclaimed dry weight is 320 for 02- and 325 for 03+. the 250x is 246 and the 300ex has electric starting plus a 12mm longer stroke so its got to be heavier than that. but get the ex

that is not true because my buddies 250x is heavier than my blaster and a 300ex does not have a 12mm longer stroke than a 250x they are very similiar motor and dont get the ex a blaster will smoke a 250ex i have done it plenty of times get either a blaster or a 400ex

dude, are you on crack? how do you think they get the extra 50cc's. the engines are exactly the same except for the electric starting and the 12mm longer stroke.and im no genius but im pretty sure that 346 lbs. is more than 325 lbs. and yes the blaster will smoke a 250EX but not a 250X. stock for stock the 300ex or the 250x is better.

ok imo, i think you should just pimp out that blaster, and if you know how to ride it right you will be unstopable, i beat my buddys all the time on there 300ex and 250x, the 300ex is almost all stock i think and the 250x had a white bro. pipe K N aif filter and razers my blaster was amost totally stock, i had stock tires, stock pipe im only bored over a little... and i was pullin on them... when i went camping i was pulling away from a kiwi 650 brune force thats only has .020 left to go on the piston i think, i know its bored out, and its got the elkas and all that and i would pull, these blaster have alot of power if you can get it tuned in right and learn how to drive it well..

He's right blasters have so much optional things to do to them. The blaster has so much things you can do engine wise to make it way faster than the 300EX.

300 feels slightly larger than a blaster making it a better choice for me. Stock for stock the 300ex is better. mostly due to the suspension is better. But you can sink money into either of them to make them rip.

just my $.02

yeah shocks the 300ex has it but the blaster has it on the motor i think... if your gonna put money in to it i would buy a blaster, i have had one for a year now and they are fast and fun... and the mod list never ends........
