how to find parts

on my frame it says that i have a lt230e 1986 yet every site i go to it only has the 1987 and up and im a little bit lost

Are you sure it aint a lt230ge? Bc www.rockymountainatv.com has parts for a 1986 lt230ge

it may be but al it says on the frame is lt230e there are rarely parts for it on ebay but most of the time the years are 1987 and up i live near a parts store so im going to ask him about it and just order the parts i need from there but i really wnat to know exactly what i have for future buying off the net
