I have an 02 400ex with an EHS lid and a HMF Ballance s/o exhaust coming. Elevation is about 1200-1500....I know some people will recommend a 40 or 42 pilot and a 152 or 155 main but was curious is I can get away with not touching the pilot since I am riding in AZ with temps between 80 to 105 F.

Any suggestion's on jetting with my scenario???

Yeah, you can run the stock pilot. I just moved from AZ (El Mirage area, near the base). You won't have any problems performance wise, but a larger pilot would help with cold starting. If you keep the stock pilot, just open the fuel screw CCW to about 3 turns from the lightly seated (closed) position. Any more than that won't do much because it will be beyond the range of adjustment.
