the top clamp that holds the steering stem in place on my '04 trx450r has a little bit of play in it. i have a burgard +1 steering stem and called the people at burgard and they said their steering stems are thinner then stock (1 1/8) so i think i need a new top plastic bushing ive tryed packing it with grease but the play just comes back. the stock 450r bushing is way to wide and doesnot fit so i was wondering where i could get the right bushing or what else i could do??

Thanx

Well I know the burgard stem is the same diameter as a 400ex stem. Maybe try a 400ex bushing. I'm not sure that the mount is the same though.

Are you racing this memorial weekend?

just so you know almost anyone who has ordered from burgard has had issues(including me),as far as that goes you probably can't get parts very quick from burgard if at all, so what i always do is go to te hardware store and see if i can find something that will work for a bushing, sometimes they're even better then the bushing they came with

Burgard makes some average parts with horrible customer service. Tons of people have had problems with them, I've had mine.
Good luck with the bushing. On my old R, after I finally got the right stem from them (wrong TWICE), everything fit great and ended up being a nice stem.

yah, there products are awsome, but unless your sponsered by them it takes to long for them to get parts, i ordered my parts on the 10 and they're still not here
