I have a friend who's pretty good mechanically. Another guy we know (off a motorcycle forum) offered him this via an email. What whould be a fair price for it?
well... I bought it from a buddy a couple years ago... it ran but felt like it needed a tune up and had broken bolt in the head which it leaked oil. So, had head fixed and had some buddies working on putting engine back together for me... they got engine about 80% done and gave up on me.
It had a twisted steering stem... bought another used one that was straight to replace it but haven't installed. It had a bent OEM rear rim... bought another to replace it but not mounted it yet either. It had cut stock plastics (think it was previous racer) and no headlight or ignition switch... so I bought new UFO plastics for it and got a headlight unit and ignition switch off ebay for it but not yet installed either. A lot of this I was putting off until I got it running again. Well, my buddies don't ride ATV's anymore and lost interest in it so never finished it up. I have over $1500 invested but... at this point I am open to offers. Its just taking up space in my garage right now. But could only give bill of sale because I have no title for it.
I also have new seat cover for it... old seat was ripped up. I also picked up a couple stock bore jugs for it in case it has been bored out to limit (don't know personally). It has nerf bars for sides and PRM front bumper and rear grab bar. It also has Armidillo skid plates on the bottom of it and has K&N air filter. It has big gun muffler and I have an exhaust pipe that has slight dent in it. It has Renthal bars too. Has lots of goodies on it really.
If I sat myself down and spent a good weekend working on it and maybe about $50-$100 for misc. parts etc... I would have it back up and running I think. I just don't have the time usually and if I do... just not motivated so it has sat unfinished Sad
