Where could i get an aftermarket Fuel Screw for a stock 400EX carb?

I've looked and looked and looked and can not find one anywhere.

call Colby at C&D, maybe he can point you in the right direction.

They dont make one. Kind of lame... There isn't one for the 04/05 450R carb either. Its mostly for the FCR carb series.

Pretty sure they're talking about extended fuel screws that don't require tools for adjustment--not "D" shaped vs. normal slotted. That's what I'm assuming anyway.

I tried for months to find one. They just don't make one for stock 400EX carbs. I've got pretty handy with the "D" shaped tool that Dynojet makes. It only cost me $3.00 plus $8.00 shipping. The shipping was pretty steep but it's easy to use.

sometimes i solider extentions to then such as a keihin long hex main jet or about a 21 series keihin pilot then a socket or flat blade screw driver fits easily, then I can easily use my 90* tool or fingers depending on application, not kosher but functional

alright thanks guys. i did see one in the motosport catalog but it didn't say what quads they were for. so i called and asked the guy if they had one for a 400EX, he said they had them listed for pretty much every other stock quad except the 400EX.

he told me that they didn't think it would be a very popular screw so they didn't make one.

that is LAME. especially since it's in a freaking spot you can't get to hardly.

It does kind of suck since it's so hard to get at. I bought a 90 degree screwdriver from MotionPro that works pretty well.
