used quad??

I'm a 17 year old kid and i recently owned a 05 trx 400 ex but sold it because i couldn't afford it.....i am looking to a buy a used quad and i am wondering what is best for the money.....i like to go fast and race my friends....i am thinkin about a banshee but i'm not sure....and i would like to find somthing for under 3k....any suggestions?

if you can ride a two stroke, go for the banshee then. think about a 250r, banshee, kfx/z's are a little faster. and what terrain do you ride?

i dont understand how a 400ex isnt fast enough? when are you ever topping out a 400? a banshee isnt really going to be that much faster, but you could get one. a 450 could run you as cheap as $3000 if you search around. ive seen some 3500 all day long

i ride pretty much roads and ditches with my buddies.....and the main reason i want a banshee is because its somthin different than what all my friends got....and i've heard they're wicked fast

because it doesnt matter how fats a quad is it matters how quick it is.
