I DO NOT HAVE THE ANS. TO YOUR QUESTION, BUT I HAVE ONE MYSELF... YOUR FRONT HUB FAILURE, WAS THAT FROM NORMAL TRAIL RIDING OR MX STYLE( SICK AIR, TRACK)?

I'M GOING TO HATFIELD/MCCOY JUNE 1-3 AND I'M SHI@@IN BRICKS WONDERING I'LL HAVE A FAILURE 40 MILES IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!

I'VE GOT ABOUT 20 HOURS ON MY BIKE, AND EVERYTHING SEEMS O.K NOW:confused:

Actually I haven't had a failure yet ,but the bearings that were used in the hubs were cheap from what i have heard ,and I am trying to eliminate hub failure if posible by changing out the oems for a high grade alturnative . I am also looking to get a set of billet front hubs for agrssive riding.

IF the front hubs and bearings are the same as the Pred and Outlaw 500, here are the numbers. Now this is what they had in stock - NSK and Timken/Fafnir, they assured me that they were the best out there and of equal quality. Timken/Fafnir #202PP The other front bearing is NSK #6204VVC3. Doing the bearing change BEFORE they blow apart and ruin your hubs is the ticket and so easy to change out too. I also had a national champ show me a trick for even longer life. Before installing them, get some high quality, waterproof, synthetic high temp grease and carefully pick the plastic gaurd off of each bearing and press in the quality grease with your thumbs, fill full and snap the plastic guard back on. I never had another bearing problem with my front hubs again and I had a ton of GNCC and local XC races on them. With your hubs being new, you should have no problems with them in the future. After failure after failure with the Made in China stock ones, it eventually ruined my hubs. I bought new hubs and the bearings listed above, problem solved. Hope this helps... Big Chuck.
