Got to Ride with my HC1!

Well, I was in a huge debate whether to get the HC1 or 2. I decided to get with the HC1 because of the low end increase. I totally feel that I made the right decision! The Power increase is def noticeable! In the trails the power is awesome! I wanted to see how it would do up against my cousins '05, He has an HMF slip on, K&N and no lid. My mods are in my Sig.

I heard bad things about how the power drops off and blah blah...Man, I blew him out of the water! We raced probably about 300 yards, I got him by about 15 bike lengths! We are both running 13t sprockets. I got out in front of him fast, and STAYED THERE! She'll still bring the front end up in 4th/5th! I am VERY happy with my Decision and I proudly display it...

Cool, glad you like it. I too ran a stg 1 for quite sometime and really loved it. It pulls very hard out of corners, this is where I noticed the biggest improvement. 2nd and 3rd gear out of a corner when your almost at a dead stop is awesome!

yeah i love my stage one cam also. i love low end power vs. top end power. how do you like that 13tooth sprocket? does it help the bottom any at all.

The HC1 and 13t combo is amazing! My cousin has a '05r with the HMF slip on, K&N and no lid, and mine felt like a MONSTER compared to his!

Ya know... I've thought about giving up my HRC cam for the stage 1. I did all possible research before going with the HRC but I think everyone has a different riding style. I'm runnin the 13t as well and only ride in the dunes. Love the way it runs but I never get the hole shot in a hill race. Thanks for the post man! Good to know.

just a quick question. Do you still use the stock clearances for the valves?

yeah most of the new cams for the 450r are .006 intake and .011 exhaust. i dont know if it changes on the 06
