450 shocks

can you use 450 shocks on a 250R. I am going to run +3 a arms but i think i have seen it done before. Just curious because they are stiff as hell on the 450.

Yes 450r shocks will bolt up. If you leave them stock, they will be stiff because of the a-arm differences between 450r, 400ex and 250r. As for +3 a-arms i dont know how they will ride. My 450r shocks are revalved and resprung for my weight and riding style. Hope this helps

im using them on +2 a-arms....i weigh 240 and they are perfect for me.my buddy has a stock yfz and he really liked the ride of my r!!:D when i had stock arms they were pretty stiff..but lighter rate springs could fix that quick. JMO
