I have a 07 YFZ450 with a slip-on HMF k&n w/outwear and dnyo jets and if i take off the lid will i notice the power gain or not?

if you jet it correctly after removing the lid, yes.

Is it worth taking it off and buying a UNI filter and Outerwear, (moneys kinda tight but I want power haha). Is the gain really that significant after you rejet obiously.

the air inlet in the YFZ airbox is a restriction, it is definitely worth it in my opinion. If you want to get the airflow but not lose the protection of a lid, I've run the EHS lids with good results.

no lid and a uni is my sggestion or just keep stock noticed little diff wth my filter

I noticed a huge difference had to go up to 170 main and a 45 pilot (a little rich pilot jet) but the thing rips and sounds better now too.
