Hey im getting ready to tear down the R for the Summer Rebuild (did the 300ex last year :p) and i need to know the troubled spots on the 450r. If any one has any picstures of what needs to be fixed could you please post them.

Here is a pic of my frame... I made this gusset kit about a month ago. These are the needed areas of gusseting highlighted in yellow.

Just go look at the install guides for Bare or Lonestar to see what points they beef up.

Bare Performance is hwo i purchased threw.They seemed ok

diddo, bare and lonestar are right out there with their gussett kits. I thin kthe one from bare is 75.00 for the kit, or 350 + 75 to get your frame done up by them and PC'ed all at once.

I dont about lonestar. I would think that you could trust their stuff.

But I do agree with the first picture. That is a major week point on the R frames and should be fixed as soon as possible.

the had a thing in may 2007 in the dirtwheels mag on the bare gussets
