well i decided i hate the look of the blue plastics on the shee so over the weekend im gonna paint them(just with krylon)ive always wanted to do black but i was wondering what some of you guys would think would look good..,..rather it be back plastics on color front another or just all one color but i want something eye catching but where it looks good still

any input would be great...thanks

i woulnt recomend painting them, i would buy new plastic and custom vinyls or some graphics. if you paint them they with look worse than before. the only thing i would paint is the hood. the hood doesnt go any where when you roll it but if you roll it with the whole plastics painted it will chip and crack.

here is a pic of my bike with graphics, i think it is pretty eye catching

im in the same boat luckily the dvx400 plastic only cost 100 bux new so i guess im lucky, but in the meantime im gonna paint em instead of buying right now, obviously it depends on whta kind of riding you do any sticks and branches will scratch the color on it.

well if you do decide to do it you might as well do it right. sand it down and prime it with real ppg paint, then and a flexible additive (so you can bend it with out cracking the paint) to your new color and then clear coat. jsut a suggestion

welp i started it today so theres no turning back now...im goin with black and white...when im done ill post some pics if i can figure out how to resize them to fit on here:scary:

I painted my tank cover on my 400ex and it looked so bad the paint ran and chiped hard core, dont do it!

to late already got the tank and the radiator shield thing painted so theres no turning back....you probly did to much at once....cuz mx junkie did it in the same color im doing and his looked dope
