If ur gonna be doing it all, just do it all at once. Itll be much easier to check if u jetted correctly

u dont have to re-jet for only the k&n, but will need to if u get the slip on.

make sure you get a foam air filter. any other are junk and let dirt and **** through. there good for cars where theres not much dirt but if you ride hard definately go with uni foam filter

K&N filters arent junk it just depends on your riding conditions.

You need to get a uni filter if you ride offroad. K&n's arent worth crap on a quad.

Like he said. K&N filters are best suited for the streets. Foam filters like UNI and Twin Air are the way to go for Off Road vehicles. Foam filters are cheaper, easier to clean, and filter alot better than K&N filters. A filter alone is not worth rejetting for. Go with a UNI filter and Slip-On at the same time. Than rejet.

i would have to disagree on foam filters are easier to clean. they are very messy but on what filter is best is all up you, uni and twin air are nice but will not flow better then a clean k&n filter. and i run k&n on everything and have never had a problem with dirt getting into my engine but i allways run a prefilter also. they are more expensive but i think they are worth it.

Foam filters take a fraction of the time it takes to clean a K&N. I've seen NO real proof that shows a K&N flows more air than a foam filter. Save yourself time and money. Buy a UNI!

if you get a k &n just get an outerwears cover. You will be fine

$$$ Cha-Ching $$$

K&N filter- $40.00 + Outerwears $10.00 = $50.00

UNI Filter= $22.00

I can clean a K&N in half the time of a foam filter. Foam does filter better, K&N flows better, and has been proven on a flow bench.

If you ride in extremely dusty conditions, get a foam filter. If you ride in the dunes or in less dusty conditions, get a K&N and an outerware.
