I am located in a small town called United, just miles away from Mt. Pleasant and Greensburg. I live 1/2 mile from Westmoreland fairgrounds. Hey you guys ever hear of a track near Yough/Deep Creek called Roaring Knob raceway. Its pretty cool they have a quad motocross and crosscountry track and are an outlaw. Not ama. Thats what i like about it. They have racing every sunday, but there 2003 schedule isnt up yet. Maybe you guys could check it out, or ill keep u guys posted.

hotrod is there any chance you can ride there (yough/deep creek) this time of year? i've never heard of that track. do they have any kind of webpage? cause i'm looking for somewhere to ride some xc tracks its getting boring out at my house. i was goign to go to that ride out at powerline park in wheeling in october but they cancelled it. that place looked cool as ****. the only other places i know about to ride are crow canyon out in ohio and i was going to try out the breezewood proving grounds if they are still open they are more mx i think but they are supposed to hava a xc track too.

Hey jja125 at roaring knob they are temporarily closed, because of a supercross track they are building. But I emailed them to ask when the 2003 schedule is going to be up and they said november. Well here it is november and still no schedule. You could always email them, there web site is www.roaringknob.com
The only thing is, they dont say anything about the xc track or have any pics of it. Me and my buddy went there one weekend and watched. The xc track looks pretty nice, and a good place to practice too.

You might want to eventually add some rings in those wheels because they will get pretty dinged up after a few races.

Hey man i live near roaring knob. i go to the races all the time up there. I go to school with the Merchats (SP?) they own the track, the circut is called lightning valley productions and the knob doesnt let quads race any more,, mx anyway im not sure about xc. my friend won 4-stroke c class in this circut w/ his DS this summer. I do know that their new mx bike track is awsome!!!

Yeah Frank Grimplin, if u race at Roaring Knob, he is the one that Won the A class there. I ride with him alot. Hes also the Open A champ. He came up to Switchback, where i race, and gave him a run for his money. We will have to get together and ride at Franks house. He lives in Vanderbilt, its about.......10 minutes away from Connellsvile

CJ, whos quads were those. Was one of them Jason Lewis? I know hes known for that 500 number. I thought that Kawi would have been Yokleys but then i saw the swinger and saw a RPM. And does anyone know for sure yet what he is riding, kawi or zuki????
