what do i do? put a bolt in the hole? do i want the passages open or closed off? thx

try sticking in a plug just for a try, and if that doesnt work pull it out and try it
why do you want to get rid of it anyways?

im putting the carb on my 400 ex. i believe its an air bleed so i would block off the ports?

You need to leave the plunger in there. Just remove the cable and screw the plunger, spring and cap back on.

Sure? I think most guys just plug the hole with a rubber plug, silicone, or something like that.
