difference on 04-07 shocks?

is there ant diffrerence in the 06/07 front shocks compared to the 04/05 shocks? i thought i read in dirt wheels that they said the new shocks were way stiffer and that they weighed less, is this true?

04/05 shocks and 06/07 shocks are very different. The earlier model shocks are much softer and smoother compared to the newer model's shocks which are very hard and uncomfortable.

i adjusted my 2007 450er shocks and they are perfect

is anybody running the stock 07 shocks with plus 2 arms? cause im using my 04's and i have them set full stiff and the preload is adjusted all the way down and it still is way too soft.

I had my 06 shocks on +2 arms and they were way soft for what i do, but i am 220 and 6,2 so i got the Gt Thunder rebuild and now they are great.

yeah see you got like 75lb's on me so i dont know if that would make a difference.

+2's with the 06+ shocks would probably be a pretty decent combo for you.

thats what i was thinking, cause i ride mx but im not that heavy so i just need a little stiffer than what i got now, and i dont wanna go and get revalves if i can just use the 06/07 for like half the cost. plus i might send mine out after i get some 06/07's
