flywheel weights??

i was on motosport and i came apon flywheel weights. what would be the added benifit from these if any. from what i understood lighter flywheels were better

I am running a Rocky Ridge lightened flywheel, and there is next to nothing left of it. Added benefits (lightened) are much faster acceleration and revs, however, less rotating mass makes it easier to stall at slow speeds.
More mass, easier to maintain slower speeds through trails,

ok so basically they are just for woods riders who like the ride on low rpms all the time. ok that explains a bit
