I have houser long travel arms, and I have some 450r shocks laying around. I know they are longer then 400ex shocks. Has anyone ran this combo before? I know it will lower the front end, but wouldnt it just make the arms more parallel towards the ground. Im trying to get away from ordering new shocks. I really dont have the extra cash. Will these work at all, or could I make them work by making some sort of extra bracket?

There's no way that will work properly. If you try it you will end up bottoming out so bad you will just trash the a-arms and frame anyway.

more than likely you'll just drag your frame on the ground. Sell the 450r shocks and keep your eyes open for some used lt shocks. make sure you know what length shock the aarms use before you buy.
