has anyone changed their footpegs on the 400ex to wider pegs like the 450r.....is this possible without getting the whole nerfbar thing.....i know the stock plastic heel guard wraps around and is bolted to the stock peg.... i dunno...just think it would make the jump landings a little easier on the feet...lol...would like to see what some of u have done

if you are just looking for slightly bigger pegs, 450r pegs fit

yeah....i know there are pegs...i was just wondering if there were some bigger pegs that would work with the stock heel guards....i really like the ims/roll pegs....i guess i'd have to buy the ims heel guards that work with them.....they are really expensive though...lol....do the pro armor pegs work with the stock heel guards?

well it looks like the pro armor ones don't work either....plus they cost like $300!.....that's rediculous...lol...the ims pegs cost $200 or close to that.....why do they charge so much for these pegs?...stock pegs are like $20....lol....oh well i guess i need to start saving my money...i would get the 450r pegs but they won't work with the stock heel guards so what's the point...they make things so difficult...lol...i remember when atvs didn't even have heel guards...but of course the rear fenders where bigger...

just buy some 450r's and mod the heel gaurd

i might do that until i can afford some ims/roll pegs and heelguards......i dunno i just don't like to hack stuff up trying to "make it work"....i might just wait til i get the money for the good stuff
