88 250r stock hood on 300

I am going to put I stock 250R stock style hood 88-89 with a headlight in it on my 300ex
I do not like the headlight on the bars
what do you think about it doing it , do you like the
88-89 250r hood on 300ex or not and any photos if you have it on

does the headlight fit right in the 250r hood or do I need the 250r headlight, I am tired of the box on my handlebars.

that looks very good. do any companies sell thoes hoods for the 300ex? if not will a 250r hood bolt right up to a 300ex?

no companys sell a hood like that for the 300, if you want any sort of good looking hood you will need to use one from a 250r.
however its not just a bolt it on job, there is bending, heating, cutting, drilling, involved most of the time, at least to make it look factory anyways,

no trying to scare ya away from doing it because it is fairly simple and the end result is weel worth it, just want people to know thats its not as simple as some let on

ok thanx for the info..ill just stick with the stock setup, im not to good at makingn things fit. is there any companies that make round headlights as bright as the stocker that hook right up where the stock one does.
