im building my CRF hybrid and i need some ideas on how to mount the carb. did you guys use the stock crf intake clamp from the motor to the carb? what kind of connection did you use to the airbox. i would really appreciate if you could post up some pics of your CRF intake system.

I imagine they use them for one reason, and one reason only...They're cheap...

I know why majority of the people do that is because, they may have a 400ex that has Full suspension work already done, but lacks power. So instead of selling it(for nothing) do a motor swap.
You then have a badd *** machine.

Also, you can get 400ex aftermarket parts at really good deals.

I do know a lot of people like the 250r Geometry better. I personally like the 400 geomerty. Fits me very well. But to each is his own.
I am pretty much getting out of the sport, but there is no other machine I would rather have then a hybrid. If it a conversion,(AS LONG AS ITS DONE RIGHT) or aftermarket. So as I say"Long live the hybrids"

That frame looks familiar, lol..
You will be happy w/the 400 geomerty. When you get it done to what ever swap you may be doing. From the looks of your other one, you seems to know what your doing. There will be no butcher job, thats for sure..
Either one 400 or 250 geometry, you will not be dissappointed..
