Dont get a BlackEye.....they suck. They have some cheepo casstettes, and horrible quality.

Id say go with a DK, Eastern, Intregal or Fit.

30 pounds is slightly heavy, but for the most part, an average weight for a BMX bike....:)

Thanks.

What about a volume?Hoffman?Rockstar?

Volume is ok, Hoffman is a no-no....rockstar is a relatively new company...and until i hear some good things about them, i wouldnt get one....

Go with one of the brands that i recommended....

Volume, Fit, Kink, Eastern, DK, 2 Hip, Stolen, Intregal, We The People and Colony are all very good, high quality bikes...

Go with a bike made by any of those companies, and you shouldnt have any problems!:)

Good luck

i would stay away from dk. my friend had a dk frame and folded the chain stay and seat stays. 30lbs is a little heavy for a dirt jumper but if you also ride street youll want something that can take abuse so you gonna add on a few lbs. i have not dealt with 2-hip, stolen, intregal, or colony so i dont know about them but every other company is top notch. i also highly recamend standard, if ya got the cash they are really pricey:macho

Thanks for the replys.

I dont have to much weight so I want a lighter bike. Does anyone know what my diamond back used to weight around? i thought it was pretty light.

My wife's son had a bike that was 27 lbs and he said that was very average...I think it was about a $400 bike. He has a new one that is about 23 lbs he said which is night and day lighter than the old one.

I would research this out before buying if I were you. Most people make really bad decisions getting into such a hurry to have crap in the shed. Don't be a sucker...do your homework. Patience is the key to success.

Yes Stolen is a good bike i have the heater. In the past ive had a easteren AOS, Fit Team XL, Dk genral lee, and now i have the stolen heater.

If your looking for a good bike id go with integral, eastern, stolen.

My friends has the integral belair. I think this bike is a lot better then mine. almost every part on the Belair in Primo and they are really good parts.

You should get a bike based on what type of riding you do.

My nirve was 40lbs with pegs on it and costed $700. Was built to last had alxe tripple wall rims and what not.

I had 2 lighter bikes and they didn't last. The huffys handle bars snapped on one side and the fork tube bent out and the front rim also bent side ways.

My light $180 X games bikes fork tube bent out too.

I have a haro now and its light but I dont even ride because every jump hurts my rist now.

My bro just got a black eye from dans comp.

Man, same thing I was thinking, what happen to all the bikes that were around in the 90's! I still have my Robinson Pro with Redline flights 3 pc crank, bulldog breaks, araya rims w/crupi hobs. Dam I mis those times.

Honestly, I remeber my set I rode best on was a Hutch frame, landing gear forks, no brakes, gt bars, 1 pc crank and a uni seat. Ica ould jam on that thing!
