My boss was ordering a some stuff from Motosprorts today,and then on break he told me he got me a HMF slip on for my quad and handed me a additional $200 for bills.Not a bad bonus if you ask me. Anyways my question is should what should I do to get the most it once I get it (jetting ect.)? Thanks guys.

I'd start with the purchase of a gift certificate for your boss for his favorite place to eat.

I know it ,I got him a case of beer after work,and I had to twist his arm to even take that. He's a good $h!t!I have never just done slip on before,I dont know if its necessary to mess around w/ anything like when you install a full system.

Yhea youll have to jet it depending were he got the hmf it should come with jets.Just goto HMF web site for help on jetting they have a great web site.You will love the hmf I have 2 of them sounds great nice power gains.

HMF has to have the worst jetting recommendations I have ever seen. They recommend a 200 main jet on a 400ex with a full system and nothing else. People with highly built 440s aren't even running that large!

Are you going to keep the lid on? Take it off?

What filter are you running.

I would get a UNI filter, ditch the lid,

then run a 155 main, 40 pilot, move the clip down on the needle one notch, and then have a blast!

Thanks for the help,I just put it on,looks and sounds great.Cant wait to test it out on Sunday.I took the lid off for now. Uni and jetting coming early next week.Thanks, Mat
