I need some options for engines that will work easily with the Polaris Scrambler frame. will a 4 stroke model fit in there and or anyone have a engine they want to sell at a reasonable price?

Thanks

This is mostly a sport based website, you might have more luck at a 4x4 based website. Try the forums at high lifter, a lot of 4x4 guys on there. Also if you are thinking of putting a different engine in, you might want to do some research on the hybrid section. A lot of useful info in there, other than that just keep scouring the forums and check ebay too.

I don't know if the 500 motor would work or not. The 350L motor from the early 90's uses a different wiring harness along with the 400 explorer motor.

Aside from being a 4x4 this was Polaris sport quad before the Predator, I had a Sport 400L that ran really strong.so info on a sport website you think wouldn't be that hard to find.

Though it was designated as polaris' sport quad, I wouldn't consider it a sport by any means. There simply just are not a lot of scrambler owners on here. I thought maybe the 4x4 guys would have more helpful info for you.
