counter shaft sprocket nut

is it normal or reverse thread? i'm having a hell of a time getting it off

It's standard thread, You really need an impact or a sprocket holder to get it off.

I did it without a impact. I had it in gear and the rear brakes held on and I pulled up on the racthet.
