Dual row carrier-will 2 stock size bearings fit?

I have a Gibson 400ex/250r axle carrier, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried putting 2 stock size bearings on each side of a dual row carrier

I would think that 2 stock bearings would be wider then 1 dual row bearing. Measure the 2 stock bearings, and tell me the measurement, and i'll measure a dual row bearing I have.
