had a pair of fox gloves one time and they were pretty much trash.
i've had a pair of thor boots for 5 years and still race in them. only problem with them are a bunch of scuff marks lol.

IMO they both have equal quality. Both companies have cheaper gear and both have some high end gear.

Pick what style you like and go with it.

Tech 8s cheap pair of Jersey and pants and Arai helmet.
Don't cheap out on protection, its the worst thing to do. Be safe then sorry. Also go with an under shirt chest protector.

I never really liked my Fox gear. The Shift stuff I have is pretty nice.

its all the same. I bet if you took all the words that say "fox" or "thor" alot of the thor guys would say they like the fox stuff and vis versa...its all basically the same

IMO, Thor gear is far superior to Fox. This goes for both riding gear and casual wear. Plus, now, everyone and their brother wears Fox casual wear and most of em probably don't even ride.

I like fox pants, but their gloves last like a week.

Never owned any thor gear, not my style.

This is the nicest jersey and pants Fox ever made IMO.

We have had both fox and thor. I do know for sure that Fox's gloves fall apart fast. We are now going to try MSR's line. And hopefully that will last. I would also like to try Troy Lee's But I'm not willing to spend that amount quite yet, since my daughter is still growing.

my dad, brother and i all have fox jerseys that seem to be holding up fairly well. i have fox main goggles and i absolutely love them. my brother had a fox airframe chest protector that held up well, but his gloves are now shot and my dads are on their way. i bought my shift mach gloves at the same time and they are holding up perfectly.. very comfortable too. we all have thor force chest protectors now that seem to be holding up very well. my brother and i also have alloy pants and jerseys that we love. my vote goes to fox for style and thor for quality.:)
