About an hour on the scoops, I used a pattern posted on this forum by lilhousekey. It needed some slight modifications but I got it to work. The skidplate took about three hours, Had to make a cardboard pattern first , then some trimming to make it fit right.
A friend gave me a sheet of diamond plate aluminum. In All I have about 10 dollars in everything. That was just for stainless nuts and bolts. You can cut the aluminum with a carbide tipped circular saw and then make a cheap brake with some angle iron and a couple of vises to bend it up.
