electrical problem

hey guys i race the wnyoa series Quad b1 and im 17 so i m just learning how to fix it by myself and everything but my predator has an electrical problem we traced it and found the starter button shorted out, so i changed it and last night it started ran for a minute then quit and now it wont turn over and i have a race on sunday and i gotta find out whats wrong so any help would be greatly appreciated

thats good that you traced it and are learning to fix things by yourself!
1. do the lights work?

yes
trace the start circuit if you can put a voltmeter on the start switch to see if its getting power

no
start at the battery, check all grounds and work your way forward

I have the electrical schematics for 05 and up I could email you.

yea mike, the lights come on it just wont roll over and its not the battery becuase there is power to the switch but i just changed it, its kinda acting like its grounding out somewhere

found what the problem is somewhere in my wiring harness i have a short so hopefully i can find it fast so i can race on sunday, thx for the help
