how loud do you want dude? personally i see a super loud pipe as all huff and blow, but no go.... and every time a pick a drag race it proves my theory

no offense but your big gun should be loud enough. This topic has been told 752573485 times. even though they sound cool there will always be someone that doesnt like the noise and that will lead to the things everyone knows about. if you buy a pipe and it is pretty loud such as a yoshimura or big gun there is no reason to make it louder. I would buy a yoshimura and a tunable end cap kit so i can quiet it down or open i up. so i would suggest keeping your big gun...or getting a racing pipe such as curtis sparks or lrd even though they are loud , they are for closed course racing so it shouldnt matter.

If you want your pipe louder run a garden hose from the pipe up to your ear and crack the throttle real hard,,that should do the job..:blah

If your pipe is too loud, the power won't matter. You'll have nowhere to ride anymore. :( Not everyone likes to hear a loud, obnoxious four wheeler.

Is the Sparks pipe for the 300ex just as loud as it is for the 400.... and is the Hetricks for the 300ex the same sound as the sparks for the 300 ?
