just wonderin what u guys think would be my best choice (i do a little trail riding and alot of messin around/motocross)

should i get itp holeshot MXR 6,maxxis RAZR MX, or Kenda Klaws?

if you have any pics of your tire wheel combos please post some pics!!

thanks, cody

theve been holding up really good so far, but it all depends how hard you are on them

I paid $66.95 per tire from rocky mountain for my 18x10x8 mxr6's. heres the link: http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDetail.do and i paid $212 total for my 8'' rear beadlocks from burgard.
as far as if they are necessaary or not...its hard to say. they are really nice, and they dont bend, but they are obviously better than a stock wheel. and another advantage of them is how they "lock" or "pinch" the bead on. if you get a hard hit on your tire, it wont pop it off the bead

dont buy mx tires if you are going to trail ride they will not last and if you are going to get holeshots get the hd's they will hold up great and if you get into racing the kenda klaws are the way to go, they will last all season;)

you don't need hd's, they add 6 pounds per tire...i got gncc's (my uncle works for itp he is a tire specialist/tester) and they are excellent, but not good enough for the extra weight they add...hds and gnccs are both 6-ply

buy the mxr6's u will love them, they hold up very well for a mx tire

all the itp mx tires they make are horrable in the sense of lasting(tred life) the sx,mxr4,mxr6 are all great tires when they are new! the compound on those tires are so soft they will actually pick up dirt when you roll them across the garage floor almost like a drag slick. get a set of kenda klaws mx they will last all season. i just said to get hds cause i thought you do alot of trail riding but you dont want to go on the track with the hds, sorry for the confusion i guess i hurt someones feelings.

I run 20" HDs (sugar sand trails are nasty). They're great. I had them on my Z and LTR, about year and a half old and still good. Heavy, yes. But I don't see any others lasting like this. I'm curious of the GNCC's, but that's if these ever wear out...

the gnccs are more sticky compound than the hd...the only thing is they are not good for riding on the road cause they peel like cazy and chunks come off as soon as you ride on the pavement
