I am stuck.....which pipe should i get for my 400ex.??...
My 2 choices are the Lrd pipe or the White bros. e-series.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
and if you have pics of them could you post them?..

I have seen many white brothers pipe pro meg pipes break at the silencer. They seem to fall apart real easy. I thiink the LRD pipe is better made and it is simular looking as the Curtis Sparks pipe. I got a HMF full exhaust because its stainless steel (NO RUST). I sold my Curtis Sparks X-4 to get the HMF. I am happier with the HMF. Good luck in you choice.

why are you happier with your hmf over sparks? is it the stainless steel reason? i was told hmf and sparks were similar in power, how does yours perform compared to sparks? for the original post, i would also go with lrd also!!!

i dont like the look of the lrd, i have a pro meg, no probs. its not over bearingly loud either

LRD makes a far better product, but it will also be louder than the WB exhaust.

Go with the LRD, they build pipes for midrange power which improves acceleration. If you look at hp charts they might be a little less (0.2 hp) but that is because it is made for mid power. And they look really cool too! As soon as I get enough money together I'm going to get an LRD.

But if you ride trails and mx and need to be quieter for trails but want the sound and power for mx get the wb pipe,

do any of you guys know how they compare to dmc?? i just heard that dmc was a top end pipe. i might have to change my name to lrd mx400ex lol...

I have the WB Slip on, however thought i like the power it gave, I feel its short on the top end. Im looking for a NON disk pipe, something more free-flowing at the end that will give more mid to top. Im looking for a dune set up, not a MX setup. If anyone has that HMF exhaust, can you send a pic of it installed, im curious of the power compared to others such as the LRD, Curtis Sparks, ETC. I dont want the loudest pipe. Does anyone know which one between the HMF, Curtis Sparks, LRD is the louder of the 3?
Ive heard DMCs are loud, however, I like theyre products. I run DMCs on my Banshee and I think they are one of if not thee top of the line pipes for the Banshees on the market today.

well dmc is good on top end but its not lacking (sp) on low end.Ive heard that a a lrd is very hard to get in place.and for the banshee they are good but they perform just like the toomey t5 system.the crome on the dmc last for a long time and look 10 times better.

lrd exhaust system are really nice. I want that or a curtis sparks full exhaust system. I heard a white bros the other day when i was riding and it sounded like a freakin cobra pipe with no spark arrestor!
i've got an lrd system and i think its awesome, looks good, sounds good, no problems installing or getting everything to fit right, if i were to do it again i'd definetly get it again

hey guys i got a FMF slip on right now and i want a LRD complete system and i wanted 2 know how much they r new or if anyone knows where i could get on cheap??

No matter where you go, your going to pay around $430 or so for a new one...well at least thats how much all the places I called wanted...I would get it directly from LRD, or K&K ATV has them...

i got mine from k&k a little while ago, i got it in one day with normal shipping, not to bad, i was suprised when i saw a box sitting outside i couldnt think of what it was, usually everything seems like it takes 5 or more days to ship
my curtis sparks just came in yesterday, watch out what kinda pants ur wearing, it may make u pitch a tent :eek:
