Can someone post a pic of there stock stem

I'm looking for a pic of the stock steering stem where the handlebars are bolted to the top mounting plate. i suspect mine has been modded. here is a picture of mine. it's on a 2003 400ex. Thanks

I dont have a picture of it.. But i dont think mine is al booger welded like that.

theres usually a hole right there. my only guess is someone put like a bar or something inside there to add strength. then welded it up.

Yeah, it should be hollow.

Maybe what ever was welded in there broke off or is loose and that's where the cow bell noise is coming from:p

Definitely not normal. That's where I stick my vent hose from the tank.
