I currently have a gforce, it was good for a month or 2.
Then I bent it on both ends =)
Its pretty much a different shape every ride now.

My RPM dominator II just came in today, will be testing that out :D

I'm guna send the gforce back for warranty and either sell it or keep it for a spare.
They are cheap, but not up for serious riding.

Going by reputation the best axles seem to be RPM, Team, and LSR.

First off I dont think they even make a +4 for the 450R, they are all +3 axles if Im not mistaken, no matter what is advertised. Also from what I have seen G Force will be the axle that I purchase, you cant beat it for that price... Here's some shots of my buddy adam clearing an 85 footer with a g-force axle and a stock rear shock.:o

I beat the hell out of mine and still yet ot bend it. On my 400ex I had a dominator 1 and I broke it on the same jump I been hitting with my R. The R has the geforce.
I now have lonestar on my ex and its been holding up fine.http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid225/p924cd1290c59c0551718436932a51906/ea1ab632.jpg

im not trying to argue with d3ktrix, but i have cased bigger stuff then him (i know, not something to brag about, it just prooves my point) and my axle is fine. and i know my axle isnt going to bend when im clearing stuff. and you and dave crashed into eachother and you bent the other side... the shape his quad is in and your nerf you cant even say it wasnt a hard hit, and your tires stick out past your nerf. you can call it junk all you want but mine and almost everyone else who has them is fine.. personally i always wanted an rpm, but for $200 my g-force has been great too me.

Cool, thanks for the info. What size rear rims and tires are you running and are you under 50"?

if im remembering right, i think he was like 49 3/4 (so we'll say 50in...) inches wide in the rear. i should be the same width as him now too since we have the same rims/tires/axle.

Ya that explains the left side, no suprise it was tweaked after that.
But that doesn't explain the right side and how its a different shape after every ride.

Do you know what the lonestar equipped bike was running for rims tires and width?

hes got 8x8 3+5 offset rear hipers with razr MX 18s. its "allstock"s bike.. so im sure he will come on and correct me if im wrong, but i think he ordered the axle as a suspension pakage on KandK.. hes got 4-1 hipers on gibson +3's in the front and his fronts around an inch wider then the rear. so i think he really got a +2 lsr..

ok ill admit it the left side was my fault lol. but the right was from overshooting that beach sand hill with the paddles on.

They tested it with 10,000 pounds of pressure and dura blu and g force were the leakest. Also why are most of the pro riders using RPM? Cause its the strongest axle out there.

Because they get paid to run it. Again, were any titanium axles tested? Who conducted the test you speak of? What axles were used for testing? There are about 5 different durablues, so just saying durablue is weak is not fair. Just curious for some more information.

RPM ran one test and posted the results on the website, and of course their axle won :P

Then I think it was TEAM that did the other one, theres won that one :P

Not saying the results are rigged, but I'd never trust a test from a anyone thats selling the product they are testing.

Check the Dominator II out. They have an ad showing its strength level compared to others. Given this is published information in a magazine, it is more likely to be a true test. I can't remember all the axles they show it against. You can get one $350 right now. I definitely goes up to a +4.

I just got one for $330 shipped =)

I think my +4 RPM is even a little longer then my +4 gforce.
I stood them up next to each other and the RPM was like an inch longer.

I only had the RPM Dominator II axle and I took measurements comparing it to stock. If I remember correctly, you could set it up for +1, +2, +3, or +4. At the lowest width setting each side was 1/2" wider than stock then you get 2 spacers for each side...one is 1/2" spacer and the other is a 1" spacer. It came with a really beefy sprocket holder too.

Yeah all the after market axles adjust like that.
