how often does it really happen in a four stroke, i ride an 04 ltz and i have a friend that everytime someting even idles a lil weird hes like oh its a fouled plug, so how often does that even happen i thought it was more of a 2 stroke problem.

It shouldn't happen often, it's nothing like a two stroke...if it's idleing weird it probably has a jetting problem or it's just spark-knock.

not often like almost never, idk would water in the motor cause a fouled plug?

A four stroke that's running right will basically never foul a plug. If oil is leaking into your combustion chamber or the jetting is way too rich then it could happen. But otherwise it will essentially never happen. You can wear a plug out over time--but it takes a long time and that's a different thing then fouling.

Sounds like your friend is using "Oh, the plug is fouled" as a catch-all for when he doesn't have any idea what's actually wrong [shrug].

That last statement is exactly what it is, i just wondered how often it actually happens, cause he drives me nuts with it, idk so even if were riding in some watery spots, itd be pretty hard to foul. like i said ive never heard of it happening outside of a 2 stroke, and a boat which is a 2 stroke.
