The #s are the width of the squish, the higher the # the less squish, which will give less bottom end and more top end.

So your 55 will make more bottom end than the 66 .

The first #s equal the size of the bore .

Hope that helps .

im running a 330 cylinder with a +4mm crank

im looking for a dome that i can run 93 oct with.

when i got these domes from ESR like 2 years ago they did say one was for more topend and the other for bottom end, so it makes a little more sence now.

anyone else wiht more info

i read then my number and they wouldn't tell me the cc.... just tell me if it's for topend or bottomend.

with the advancement in todays technology. i'd take the smaller dome and send it to someone that can reshape it around the octane and riding style that your wanting.

this technique essentially allows for the coolest temp at the engines peak power rpm and delivers optimum power delivery.

if you want further info or contact information, pm me.

this is what i got from ESR when i e mailed them

The last #’s 55 and 66 are the squish band length, 55 being for more low end and the 66 is for more top end. There should also be a P or R at the end P=pump gas R= Race gas.
