Which timing mark on the flywheel do you use to set the timing of the cams? there is 3 marks like this 1 1 1

Use the one all the way on the right. (farthest clockwise)

The one in the center is leaves you more room for error. You line it up there and if it moves alil to the left or right it'll still be in spec. You do that on the left or right line and it moves the timing is going to be off depending on which way it moves.

Look at the last exhaust and intake cam lobes. Make sure they are pointing directly away from each other when youre at TDC. If theyre pointing away from each other then line it up with that timing mark.

To find TDC, I always use a screwdriver, or preferably a large T-handle allen key, in the sparkplug hole.

This method is very accurate, more so than I originally thought, and eliminates the costly risk factor of picking the wrong flywheel mark. Having the sparkplug out also eliminates the chances the crank will move do to compression in the cylinder.

I've used this method for years on many engines and trust it 100%.
