400ex carb trouble??

ok, i got a 01 400ex, and whenever i turn the gas on (anytime) it just starts leakin gas, and ive replaced the float valve, and the floats, and also took it to the local honda shop and the completely tore it down and cleaned it and said they couldnt find any problems with it, but it still runs good too so...

anyone have any clue what the hell is goin on with this thing?

In the search box type in carb question and look for the thread started by me oldschool73 it will tell you what the fix is. The problem is the seat for the needle off the float is worn out and is not replaceable. go on ebay and type in trx400ex carb and look for the 05-06 carb for sale by HidyHondaPowersports it will save you about $120.00 It worked great for me and I had the same problem even after having the carb rebuilt. Don't waste you money on a used one with the same issues. read my thread first.
