Electrical ???

I purchased a 450R last friday. It made it the ride home (being possibly the sweetest thing ever). Now it is a pile.

Someone tried to wire a kill switch in and screwed things up big time? The fan wont run? The bike is blowing anti-freeze everywhere? :eek2:
I dont even know where to start?

Did they unplug the key switch by any chance? That would cause the fan to not come on, and if the fan doesn't come on... it will over-heat and coolant will spew...

No the key is still plugged in. That is the one thing I do know. But someone said if the wires are crossed wrong it will do the same thing? any ideas on that one? If I just trim the kill switch out of it will it fix the problem?

How is the killswitch wired up? Trace the wires and see where they run to. Does everything else work ok? Does your oil temp light come on? Does the killswitch work properly?

Kill switch works fine. Oil temp light was eliminated?
