Did Lager's ever make a 250r frame out of square tubing? I was told today that they did, but I have never seen or heard of one. If they did, does anyone have experience with this frame. How did they hold up? Were they a big improvement over the stock frames? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I dont think so. Stock 250R frames were made with square tubing, and so were 300ex frames. There is no reason at all an aftermarket frame company would use square tubing!

Leager never used square tube on his R frames. But my Walsh R frame hand some square tube on it. Roll Design also used square tube on his frames.

That's correct. Older Walsh frames used them on the lower rails and so did Roll Design.

Thanks for the info.

Okay, what about this. Did Laeger gusset frames and modify them such that the subframe is removeable (possibly using an aluminum sub-frame)?

Thanks again.

Yes. I have heard of that being done. Walsh did the same. They both modified stock frames in the past to use different linkages and have removable subframes and pro peg mounts.
