exhaust paint

I had my header pipe sandblasted. Is it ok to paint it with high temp paint?

I did my old stock pipe and ran it for about 6 months. It still looks great.

i sanded the old paint off of my paul turner pipe about a month ago... other than sanding i didnt do much prep work... used 1500 paint, and its starting to peel just around the engine where it gets the hottest... but it was worth it.
