i personally hate the k&n i have seen so many motors smoke because of them letting dirt into the intake easy. i run uni and clean after every good ride.

I bought the sparks kit, and when the filters went bad I bought some stock filters for an 04-05 from service honda. They are 14 bucks each and work just as well. I put a small screw and nut through the hole in the end. So for like 15 bucks I get a filter that works just as well as any 25-30 dollar filter on the market.

igot a velocity air filter i love it 30% more air flow than a k&n. but it all depends on the rideing condidtions

From what I have seen, UNI's fall off and K&N's break off.

Many people use them with no problems though.

I prefer the stock filter, don't have to worry about it and the gains from an after market filter are so minimal.

I'm really not sure what the answer is but I have a K&N and I'm not really too sure that I like it. When I take it off there is always a little stuff on the inside of the coupling goin to the carb and it just seems like if you can see through the damn thing that there is no way it can catch that much dirt and water. I am switching before my bike starts to smoke if its not too late.
