Take the plastic skid plate off and you will see 2 10mm. bolts remove both of them. You can identify them by looking for the copper seal. I think theres only 2 10mm. bolts anyways.

Be careful putting them back in. I've heard of many people that have cross threaded them.

At least on mine there not cross threading. The bolt or threads in the case just get messed up. I am now buying 2 new bolts every couple of changes to keep the treads clean.

After about 5 or so changes I couldn't use the old bolts anymore.

In the owners manual, it calls for 1300mL of oil in the crankcase and 400mL of oil in the oil tank.

But, I always put 1400mL of oil into the crankcase and 500mL of oil into the oil tank because I always had the "tranny whine" and ever since I started adding this 200mL more of oil, I very seldomly get this tranny noise anymore.

Another thing that the manual says is that if you are changing the oil, but not the oil filter, to only put 1200mL of oil into the crankcase.

Hope this helps,
Landon

I put 400 in the motor and the rest of that quart and almost another full in the tank.

I do the same to mine 1500m total, but i just put the extra in the oil tank. I dont think it makes a difference.

I have always had the problem with the bolts crossthreading. If this happens how do u fix it?
