04 ltz with 440 kit died

I got a ltz 400 with a big bore 440 kit on it full exuast and a different rev limiter box and i got problems
This is what happend it ran fine to day i put it in my truck and took it over to a buddies and took it off the truck. I started it up and i did about 2 laps on the track then it just shuts off. It almost sounded like it hit the rev limiter and it shut off. Trying to pop start it by towing it it would turn over but as soon as you hit the gas or clutch it would die instently.we noticed the air box was popped of the carbwe put it back on but that didnt work we changed the fuse, Checked fluids, I looked for spark in the plug but we could reallly see it, I did not change the plug yet. Does anyone have a clue???

if there are no lose wires then it sounds to me like there is deff a problem with your rev box...if you still have the stock one i would put it back on and see if that fixes your problem. thats where i would start......

check the spark by putting it touching the cilinder or any metal in your bike and trying to start it(_se if it sparks) if it does, good, it means that electric stuff is working;

check for compression, the piston rings could be severly damaged.

other than that, cams timming. :S

When you built it did you replace the stock valves? Could be a cupped valve. Check your valve lash. If it's 0 then thats it.

btw the fuse by the battery would stop working everyonce and a while. changed it and electrical started working again...could it havce toi do with this?

theres only 15 hours on after the 440 kit about 60 all together

thats exactly what happend to a friend of mines this past weekend were trying to find out what it is the shop says just off what i told him it sounds most likeley like valves but it could be piston and rings.

The stator coil tested bad and then they replaced it and it still dont run
