well due to a bad hone job my piston had blow by and never broke in correctly(and almost seized)-but it didnt.

it did break in, but the seize put minor scuffs in the piston and caused a break up at mid throttle that drove me crazy....

so now, im going to my 7th bore size (67.75mm over stock bore)

heres the formula:

how to figure bore size out:

divide piston size by 2 (67.75mm(my piston = 33.875mm)

then convert to centimeters(move the decimal point over a place) 3.385mm

multiply by stroke converted to centimeters (72mm= 7.2mm)

3.385mm x 7.2mm = 24.372mm x Pie(3.14) = 76.52808mm x 3.385(bore size = 259.0475508)

so im creepin up on 260cc :)

convert milimeters to inches divide milimeters by 25.4

convert thousanths to milimeters multiply by 25.4

that math is very good to know though.......

ive been thinkin about nikasil for this cylinder, cuz I really do love it........

I can always get it resleeved....

i dont think i would get it nikasil coate dunless i could do it for dirt cheap..... i could prolly get a powervalve cylinder for the same price, maybe even less.....
