well i was just looking at auto shows. Im pretty sure this was at sema of '06. This f-650 was custom made by DeBerta. Im sure some of you hate ford with a passion, but im going to have one of these when i get enough money! I have been gawking at this truck since i found it, and now i have a new background! im in love! check it out

i have seen one in real life driving down the beach, it is huge and its a pretty sweet, i think the owner of weld racing was the owner. its a pretty sweet truck im not a ford guy but its pretty sweet. heres a pic

i dont know where he lives but he goes out to pismo a lot and that is where the pic is from. its a crazy truck, its huge.

Thats been on here or at least a F-650 I think that one has quite a lift and an extra set of doors but I know for sure ford makes a 650 with a truck bed :eek2: :eek2: Can u say 8 gallons to the mile lol

a normal truck is still a lil bit too big. I wouldnt ever pay 60 grand for a stock F650. But some people just like to have the biggest and baddest vehicle around to go get grocerys

But seriously though, I'd buy one of these in a heart beat IF I just so happened to have an extra 90g's+. I would have to put a bumper sticker on it that said something like "Why? because I can" or "Compensating for nothing".

The first one pictured was in an issue of Diesel Power a few months back. It is Owned by Doug DeBerti, the owner of the company that built it. Powered by a Cat C7 turned up to 400hp/1100lb-ft, It is apparently daily driven and is used to go on trips to the dunes.

If I ever have the dough laying around I want to built something similar, but more for work and towing. Sure would have made pulling out a 5yd dumptruck I buried a few days ago a hell of alot easier...

yeah true... What's the difference between a Porsche and a porcupine? Porcupines have their pricks on the outside, lol.

My buddy has a 928 or something and we pick on him for it all the time. But even though it's an 88 the chicks still love it cuz it's a Porsche.

This isn't a lie, I've seen it first hand. There is a european guy I work with here, who owns an 06 carrera S, and he is not so fortunate in the looks department, but when he pulls that thing up to get gas.... the chicks walk right over to him!

Also he is not a prick by any means, he just enjoys driving nice cars, and he is a very good driver as well. He used to race aprilia motorcycles in europe. Really cool guy.

You guys are wrong about the Gas Milage. The f650 should hit 15 easy.

My 3500 will get 15 late model fords do even better.

Diesel is the way to go if you want to save gas.

my buddy uses 2 F650's for work. One is a regular cab with a Cat and the other one is and ext cab and i cant remember what motor it has in it. I know that Reg cab with a cat and auto tranny will get 13mpg wether is full or empty. The other one i believe gets around the same and that one gets an extended F350 dually bed put on it and 22.5" alcoas in the winter for his father to drive down to florida.

Nice truck and all , but I wouldn't spend my money on one. What exactly would you use a vehicle like that for ?? Hauling a trailer ?? Overkill . Grocery getter?? Overkill. Daily cruiser?? WAY OVERKILL.

I'd rather have a nice F-250, Duramax or Ram 2500 with a mild lift kit and a nice set of tires instead . A lot more practical and won't KILL your bank account in a matter of 2 months.

Thats one bad a$s truck....saw it in Diesel Power....and a few other places.

I kind of get a kick out of the people who talk about how bad of gas mileage it must get......you people have NO knowledge of Diesels.

That truck probably gets 15 mpg driving it hard......And even better if driven conservatively

Also, to the people asking why, and saying its pointless.....Who cares? All it is is a bad a$s truck that is unique in any and every way, and that that nobody else has.....The owner earned his money, had the extra cash, and said why not....So whats really the big deal

its your money, spend it how you want. if somebody GAVE me that truck id sell it. now, an '06 f-150 with 5.4 gets about 14mpg. and the f-650 gets 13? dont seem right.

a lot of you are missing the point... it is a cool truck. no, you cant really drive it on a daily basis. it is a toy to play with on the weekend at the dunes. people spend more than the price of the truck on the MOTOR of a drag car and it NOT a daily driver either. they use it as a toy on the weekend. the same with a monster truck. some of you guys need to chill out and stop fighting over the INTERNET, it will get you nowhere.

yeah you guys are underestimating the milage of diesel :macho there big,slow, and tow alot. most diesels have turbos now to help get rid of the sluggishness
