Honda Fourtrax 4x4 issues help!!

recently i started my Honda Fourtrax 4x4 and it will run fine untill you put in in SL and then it will die if u hit the throttle, it will not restart afterwards.Anyideas on what is going on with it?

Need some more info. What year is it? Whens the last time you ran it? Whens the last time it ran good? Have you changed anything on it? Last time it was serviced?

This specific quad would be a Honda Trx 350 4x4, 1986. Last time i did run was last summer and it ran perfect when i received it I imeedialy got it serviced back in june and used it only in july 2006. I recently started it and before it died, it was running fine till you put it in first and then you throbb the trottle after 20-30 minutes of warm up time and it will stall and not restart? what would be the issue?
