How often do you guys change the oil for the case? I say case cause I really don't know what's getting lubed by this oil since it's a two stroke and the tranny is dry.

Also, what wt. and type of oil do ya'll recommend?

thanks,

Kelly

your tranny should not be dry, it has a few ounces of oil to lubricate the tranny gears.

100cc of oil in your trans. if you look on the side cover there is a tab that says 100cc. on the upper rear side of cover.

how's that oil been working out for you? I was given the advice to run Lucas oil stabilizer with 50wt oil by the man that invented the brass bushing idea.

i know i'm sitting on a time bomb, we haven't blown the gears yet, and we haven't done any tranny mods (brass bushing, kasea gears, slipper clutch)

Just gettin nervous for when the first time comes..

Don't worry about it, you will have to change it every time you change the gears, so it won't be in there long!!! :D :D just kidding!
